HEALTH GUARANTEE
Two copies of this health guarantee must be printed, signed and dated by the buyer and received by the seller prior to shipping or local pickup. Once seller has received both signed copies if this health guarantee, we will sign your copy and return it to you once puppy is shipped or picked up.
Health guarantees are contracts to ensure protection for the buyer as well as the breeder/seller.

Health Guarantee
We guarantee the puppy to be free from parvo and distemper at time of final sale/delivery. We insist that you have your puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian of your choice with in 72 hours of recieving your new puppy from us. If not this health guarantee will be considered null and void. Should your vet find the puppy to be positive for parvo or distemper on this initial visit, the puppy will be replaced with puppy of same value or a will be refunded the price of the puppy only. Your choice. Buyer must notify seller within 24 hrs of diagnosis, not doing so will null and void this guarantee. Seller will have the option of asking for the puppy to be returned including all paperwork being signed back over to the seller, a report from the licensed veterinarian must be sent to the seller to have interpreted by our vet. If our vet agrees at that time we will replace or refund the puppy price. ALL EXPENSES, SHIPPING FEES AND VETERINARIAN BILLS INCURRED ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.
This puppy is also guaranteed for 6 months from contract date against any genetic disorder serious enough to require euthanization. We will again require a report from a licensed veterinarian to be interepreted by our veterinarian. We must receive the report within 5 days. If not this guarantee will be considered null and void. If our vet concurs with the report the breeder will replace the puppy with one of equal value. If no puppy is availbable at that time, the buyer must wait until one becomes available. AGAIN, VETERINARIAN AND SHIPPING EXPENSES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.
If for some reason the puppy should die within the guarantee times listed above an autopsy report will be required to determine the cause of death and must be received by the seller as soon as possible. Our veterinanrian will interpret the autopsy report and If he/she agrees that the cause of death as determined by the autopsy report to be the direct result of Maple Leaf Chihuahuas negligence, we will replace the puppy with one of equal value. If one is not available at that time the buyer must wait until one becomes available. VETERINARIAN AND SHIPPING EXPENSES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.
Seller does not warrant against the following:
motion sickness/stress - these puppies will most generally experience some of this due to shipping or just moving to a new home can be stressfull
we assume no responsibility for any illness to other household pets resulting in being exposed to our puppies
we do not guarantee your puppy to be of show quality or able to breed
hypoglycemia - low blood sugar - under no condition is the seller responsible for loss or death due to hypoglycemia
molera - these are common in chihuahuas and are considered acceptable by the AKC and not considered a flaw
luxating platella
coccidia/giardia - Many puppies are prone to ourbreak of either coccidia and/or giardia under stressful circumstances. The symptoms can arise in a 12 hour period, and can not always be prevented by the seller, because there are no signs until the puppy is stressed.
collapsing trachea - this is a common thing in chihuahuas when excited, and not found to impose a health risk, using a harness instead of a color can help prevent damage to the trachea.
no guarantee on size, color, coat, temperment, ear carraige, teeth or breeding ability of this puppy
there are certain conditions caused by environmental factors such as: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee
hernias, kennel cough,
internal parasites - although our puppies are wormed we do not guarantee them to be worm free

**This guarantee only applies to the original Buyer and is not transferable to a second party.**
This puppy will be current on all vaccinations and wormings at time of sale. However after the puppy has left our home keeping them up to date on there shots, wormings and other vet care becomes the sole responsibility of the buyer. Health Guarantee does not apply to puppies/dogs purchased for less than $300.00.
